Expanding Your Value (Potential)
Having looked at yourself in the mirror, from you own perception, and, as if from another’s perception, I trust you feel better. Perhaps you feel happier, knowing that you are the one in control of how you feel and appear, based upon your new understanding that you make more choices than you previously thought.
Hopefully, with each glimpse, you feel happier. Life is a glimpse, a brief look, at the world. One can either chose to love during that brief time or spend it lonely in fear. Chances are, you looked in the mirror and saw a smile, each of the past two days, and you love more about yourself, and the world around you, than you fear how another might be judging you.
Many people, out of fear, cause harm to themselves and others, as they worry about mistakes of the past; have concerns about how someone else should behave or treat them; and potentially cripple their own ability to live a happy and prosperous life because of what could happen, instead of living a reality-based life.
Do you want glee in your life? Do you enjoy a twinkle in your eyes or a glare in your stare? You are the only one who can make the choice to twinkle or glare.
When one considers the length of time the universe has existed, and man’s existence within the universe, a human lifetime is very short. During that short lifespan one can either live-off values created by others or choose to create and produce values for others and society.
When one creates and produces values, life feels rewarding, appreciation flows into that person, and joy is abundant. When one merely does what is expected, there is no joy felt within. Life becomes boring and one quits learning.
The brain is designed to learn, to exercise emotion and thought. What do you think about? Do you think for yourself or do you expect others to make decisions for you? If you let another make decisions for you, you no longer experience your own emotions. Soon, your brain receives no exercise and its own intellectual capacity (intelligence) grows weak. When the brain is weak from lack of exercise, so are you.
Do you ever wonder why you don’t feel like you have enough strength to sustain your relationship? You need to think for yourself so you have energy. Tonight, not only tell yourself “I Love You!” tell someone else “I Love You!” Then, reflect upon a value you used to provide for yourself. Decide to start providing it again, so you can feel good within.
