Mark Hamilton,
I loved your mini-day concept. It 100% changed how I plan my business day. I feel that some of your “critics” honestly don’t understand your message. For example, I read one person who felt that simply by buying and reading your books, she would make money. She didn’t create ANY values at all, in spite of the fact that this is absolutely essential to what you teach. She didn’t plan mini-days. She didn’t work on products or marketing.
What you say, in essence, is if you learn to create values in your life and become more self-confident, you increase your attractiveness to others. If you build values daily and market them via mini-days, your income will likely go up, if you become a more self-directed, positive person and increase your overall positive feelings about life, your health will likely improve.
Would anyone really argue otherwise? Why would this be controversial? Does anyone really believe you’re going to become more attractive by becoming less self-directed and less self confident, make more money by NOT creating values or by NOT doing marketing and product development, and become healthier by being MORE pessimistic about life?
Why would you need to provide research studies to prove these facts?
To me, they’re self-evident. Basically, what you’re saying is stop depending on external authorities to tell you what to do with your life, start creating and marketing values, become self-reliant.
The action I took on reading your course is that I participated in some of the conference calls. And I immediately started planning mini-days for marketing, product development and numbers, exactly as you teach.
I’m not 100% on board with everything you teach. But I have to say that your books and conference calls are worth multiples of what you charge for them, and I’m frankly shocked anyone would see it otherwise. They obviously don’t understand what you’re teaching.
You have my permission to use this comment even if at some time in the future I cease paying for your Society. My opinion on mini-days and many of your other ideas will not change. I made these comments of my own freewill without any compensation.
