I was in my swimming pool this weekend cleaning the leaves from the bottom floor, using a hand held skimmer. I have a neighbors tree whose leaves started falling at a slow pace since June. After a windy storm blows through there are to many leaves for the automatic skimmer to collect.( there have been many windy days here in the Chicago area this summer) Skimming the bottom of my swimming pool with my hand held skimmer pole ( great exercise for a 50 year young or old body ) as I was retrieving some of the leaves that have been decaying for a while, my thoughts hit me in a magical way, it was then at that moment I realized the leaves that were decaying, were feeding the algae, the source it has adapted from through the Evolution changes to grow and become strong. Next I thought about the seedlings that also fell from the tree, the one’s that have missed the swimming pool and landed on some soil, the seedlings that are welcomed by the area, and let the seed spread it’s roots to become strong. Next I thought about the Evolution changes that never stop and asked the question to myself, what honestly is it that makes the strong survive? The strong have been able to out

Your wish will appear right in front of you, and you may not even know it. When opportunities come, most get passed up. We have all experienced this at sometime or another. I will share with you one experience I have learned from. I am a nature lover, I love looking up into the sky, going into a deep thought process, thinking deep within my soul. Sometimes my mind goes (240), with all my thoughts flying through me and out of me, so many thoughts, plans, wishes, hopes, sometimes it is hard to focus on only one. On this one unparticular day I was thinking about my teenage children who will be starting part time jobs. I was thinking, I need another vehicle because it gets difficult maneuvering our lives around with 4 drivers and only 2 vehicles. Weeks later, it was just another routine day. I arrived home from work, looked through the mail saw typical bills and junk mail, but one unparticular flyer caught my eye, it was a promotion sweepstakes from a dealership just blocks from my home. I liked this dealership because I bought a used vehicle a few years back and have had a good experience with the vehicle and the dealership. This flyer stated there was a giveaway going on this coming Thursday, and

Health
.. I am probably not unlike many of you who have lost valuable relationships through the devastating affects of cancer. I remember in 1958 when my Father finally ended his battle against this disease; after having suffered through multiple surgeries – to let go was the only way he could survive. Too many surgeries, too much pain, for way too long completely ended his ability to hold on. You see back then, due the lack of innovative medicinal treatment against this ruthless Villain, surgery was, for the most part, the only extremely painful option. It was very difficult to watch my Father receive five surgeries which gradually removed his spark of life. I hated to see anyone suffer unnecessarily, especially my Dad. So, I am very happy to be able to share this information with you. As I saw this online I have also incorporated a wonderful response to this information from another blogger. It is well worth repeating. Here’s to our hope for a brighter future! A woman named Albina Duggan was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer (a serious stage) for this illness. This woman, a young Mom of four children states she was simply devastated with the news from her doctors that she could have three to five years of her precious life left! Her

Have you ever had some one recognize qualities in yourself that you some how were unable to notice. May be it was a school teacher who noticed or a boss or even a mentor pointed out an admirable quality that they saw in you. When I entered high school at the age of thirteen, my English teacher who was also my drama teacher announced that she had written a play for us, entitled “parts of speech”. Having been involved in plays at elementary school level I wondered just what it would be like to be in a play at the high school level. As these thoughts crossed my mind I decided to sign up for the play hoping to get signed on as the person who draws the curtains and do other prep work. That way I could look on at the others and perhaps learn what would be expected of me. Imagine my surprise when my English teacher decided to pick me to be the “verb” in this play. My teacher, being the writer and producer of the play knew exactly how she wanted each part performed. In my thinking I assumed that because a verb shows action, I felt that perhaps I would have to jump up and down on stage or show some sort of similar action.
