.. What’s Next, In Our Display of Judicial Stupidity? Well here’s One For Ya! No Crosses on Federal Property! Did you see in the news last week that the Supreme Court doesn’t want any crosses on Federal Property? No crosses on federal property? Well duh….. (Scroll Down) (revealed the photography pasted above) Then came the pitch statement, “Let them try and remove these. What are these people thinking? At what point do we say enough is enough? Some messages just need to be forwarded, and this is most certainly one of them. Please pass this on to as many people as possible as quickly as you can even if you normally don’t do this type of thing.” I really don’t know why this didn’t end up in my spam file; but I have to admit a revelation came to me with regard to the deception of societal misrepresentation in the media, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you on this matter. You see, we all want to feel justified in our patriotism; especially if we have family members sporting one of these white beauties on their temporary resting ground. My Father is one of these people who died in service and is buried on military resting grounds, sporting a little white cross like the

Then one morning I looked at the calendar and realized that I only had one week remaining on my vacation. I knew I could commute from here to my job, but still I didn’t want to go back to stress, frustration and Richard. Just then Meghan stopped by with a check for $2350, profit on the latest pieces she had sold. “You have become quite popular.” She smiled, “This is good for both of us.” Several months later, Paul and I attended a joint showing of our work at Meghan Presley 2, the chic gallery in town. I had purchased a floor length saffron gown for the occasion. Paul’s yellow tux and black ruffled shirt matched my dress. That evening the gallery was packed with influential people. Meghan moved among them like a cobalt sloop amid a sea of penguins. From my vantage point at the entrance I could see the entire floor. Richard stood alone in a corner near a large blue and yellow vase. “Hello Richard. Where is Jennifer tonight?” “Emy, it’s good to see you. Jennifer is uh well um. She is probably out with her new boyfriend. She made partner last month and doesn’t need me anymore.” “Oh, that’s kind of sad.” I moved to the other side of the vase. “I’ve always liked this piece.

Part 1 Part 2: So with that being said, I’ll tell you what the picture, Lost Paradise means to me. I said the picture is a journey. It starts at the mountain in the back ground. That separates us from the rest of the world. The mountain is a barrier between the outside world and the civilization of the universe or the c of u. The mountain is just the beginning of the journey for most of us. It was the hardest thing to over come. You see you had to start your climb up the mountain from the other side where you were taught how to live your life and when and how to do the things others wanted you to do! Let’s just say the mountain represents the climb to escape your past self and the way you use to live. Once at the top of this great mountain you can see for miles as you look out over the land and down on the valley below you can see a calm river. Across the calm river is a forest of trees that goes on for miles towards a small cool running stream with stepping stones that lead into another small forest. Then up to another great mountain, but on top of this mountain is the peace and

About three days later, I sat in a booth at the Lady Bug drinking coffee when Meghan breezed in. She smiled when she saw me and came over. “Are you waiting for Paul?” She sat down across from me. “No, I was just enjoying the atmosphere.” “I am so glad you moved here. I know it’s only been a few weeks, but I’ve got to tell you this Ember, I have some great plans for your work. I’ve arranged for you to have a show in my gallery in the city beginning April 2. I know you have a lot of interesting pieces already and I know you can come up with several more in time.” “Great. I have a few ideas on the drawing board.” “Now, on a more personal note, Paul came to see me last night. The poor boy is completely confused.” I choked on my coffee. She knew about us? “I thought you were fond of my brother.” “Brother? Paul’s your brother?” My eyes widened. “I was sure the red hair was a dead giveaway. Oh my goodness.” she gasped “You thought he was my boyfriend.” She laughed. “No, he’s my baby brother. He’s a great guy who deserves to be happy. I think you do to.” After coffee, I walked over to the Glassworks. Paul
