.. For Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness (Part 1) One day our fore fathers sat down and began to write one of the most amazingly inspired documents this great country of ours has ever seen. It started something like this: We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. This was the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution was written by several committees in the summer of 1787, but the committee most responsible for the final form we know today is the “Committee of Style and Arrangement”. This Committee was formed and charged with getting all of the articles and clauses of the document agreed to by the Convention, and putting them into a logical order. On September 10, 1787, the Committee of Style set to work, and two days later, it presented the Convention with its final draft the Constitution of the United States of America. The members were Alexander Hamilton, William Johnson, Rufus King, James Madison, and Governor Morris. These forefathers, or, “The Framers” as they were known, were

Motown Remembers Marvin Gaye New CD Release Date, May 26th, 2009, Released Under the “Universal Japan” Label. You know, I can remember the years of the 1960s’, and continuing on into the early 1980s’ as some of the most disturbing and unsettling years in my life. In those years the Viet Nam War was raging; while hippies were frying their brains on L.S.D. in their search for love with, “Make Love, Not War,” being the Hippie’s popular slogan of the time. I suppose it was their attempt to escape the harmful bloodshed occurring with the Viet Nam war; which we were able to watch “Live” nightly via the newly introduced television set. Things in my personal life were not much better. I watched my older sisters shooting themselves up with Heroin, and my parents drown away the sorrow in their lives after work, drinking martinis while watching their favorite television show, “Gun Smoke,” in their attempt to escape those rapid and troubling changes going on in our society at that time. Yes these were unsettling times, causing many people to look for a way to escape the drastic changes taking place. I was too young for drugs and alcohol, and not old enough to be drafted; so I turned to music for my solace and

You have always heard of this expression “Don’t live in the past”. Thinking about our past actions, most people will want to go back and change them. Life is a one way street. When someone goes back in their memory bank and pulls up their past actions, they don’t always like them. Then, your mind will suddenly focus on trying to change your irrational actions. Something unachievable! You suffer and block yourself from expanding when living in that state of mind. The future is growth! Everything you want in life resides in the future. Thinking in the future will expand your mind to new realms of knowledge. Knowledge is power and power is what you need. Most people still live in the age of Abraham and the prophets. Our world today is a paradise compared to theirs because of many mind shifts the human consciousness has taken since their times. For example, going to the moon would seem like visiting God in the sky. Consciousness is unlimited but we limit ourselves by looking for external guidance, irresponsibility, self destruction, and the submission to the forces of nature. Abraham and the prophets played their part in the development of human consciousness three thousand years ago. Consciousness is the gift of light. Some of those prophets were not fully conscious like some
