Alone in the Woods
by Midnight
As a buck stands in front of the quiet water falls, ever watching over his beloved faun, he hears the gentle snap of the breaking of a twig and turns his head to see just what might be sneaking up on them.
His mate waits just out of sight.
He stands majestically like a warrior, poised and ready to fight, standing his ground, watching and waiting to defend her honor! He keeps guard over his beloved, waiting as she waits, in the woods beside the lake as the waters of the river flow gently over the water falls in the background.
Not knowing what is to come, he stands his ground ever watching, ever waiting, protecting those he loves against any danger that might approach, ready and willing to take on the world at a moment’s notice!
He searches the woods for the dangers that might be coming…
But finding all is secure in the fact that he, his mate and his faun, are after all
Alone in the woods.

Midnight such talent, it’s beautiful! I would be delighted to see others you may have. I liked the poem–revealing love, caring and protection, just like what Mark Hamilton’s literature, the Neothink Society and the beloved Twelve Visions Party have taught all of us. Thank You, Mr mark Hamilton.
Midnight,

You can show me your etchings any ole time, LOL…
Love,
