Financial Freedom for Folks!

Hello everyone this is ‘The Sharp Guy” and for those who have never heard of me this is a brief outline of my story. I spent twenty years in the US Navy as an Aircraft Electronics Technician (AT for those of you who like to know military acronym designations). I traveled the world fixing aircraft and my last few years I taught how to fix aircraft.

When my time was up I figured it would be easy to find a job and I was right! The problem I ran into is that the good paying jobs were temporary or by contract. When the contract was complete you may or may not have another one waiting. Not the kind of stability a man with a family and mortgage is really looking for.

Then I took a permanent job fixing office equipment; copiers, printers and fax machines. This was a fun job for me! Drawback for the stability, I had to give up the big bucks of contracting.

Well after a few years of working and searching I finally found the happy medium. I work for an engineering company making web based training for their technical equipment.

Now I am sure you are happy for me but wondering, “What does that have to do with my own financial freedom?” Well I have come to realize that even though I am a full fledged employee now I still could loose my job with little to no warning. I am pretty sure you are in the same situation.

I’m not scared at all about loosing my job!

Let me say that again, “I am not scared at all about loosing my job!!” Not because I think it can’t happen but because I figured out how to make money online.

Here is the kicker. As soon as the checks started coming in I got snatched up by this social network to train some of the other members on how to do social networking and blogging.
