I have worked my butt off for years. I was smarter and worked harder than almost all of my co-workers. I had always made an assumption that I would get promoted based on my smarter, harder work habits. I had even had these little Ten-Second Miracles that I shared with my supervisors which normally saved time and or money. Do you think that helped me? Well I got a lot of pats on my back and thumbs ups, but coin in my pocket, no way!
