I am rereading Mark Hamilton’s Miss Annabelle Story. It is amazing to see Miss Annabelle’s strength through adversity. Even though she became a political prisoner for a crime she didn’t commit, she remained true to herself and her students. She became good friends with one of the other prisoners. She taught Miss Annabelle to keep smiling even when things look bad.
That is a good lesson to all of us. What seems like disastors or problems aren’t. They are situations and opportunities to improve our quality of life. The hard part is knowing that its good even when it feels bad. The knowing that something good will come out of it will help you overcome any adversity just like it did with Miss Annabelle.
Keep Smiling!

Hi Jill,
So happy with you to be able to see the silver lining within a dark cloud. This process is actually called “reframing”, not that it literally matters, when the actual lesson is so profound in experience(s) and what we make of them. This can make all the difference in the world! I would rather smile than frown any day!
Mark Hamilton’s writings are generous in the knowledge these pages convey. I am grateful.
