Envy, such a poisonous emotion! Well put, Mark Hamilton, on what envy is, and what it does. We’ve all seen it, you see someone try to crush another for apparently no reason. And of course, there is a reason–envy. The desire to destroy something or someone else because somehow it or they make that person feel less than, or not good enough, or like there’s no way they could have that, make that, look like that, etc. It took me so long to understand this word and emotion, but I do now. I don’t think envy will be such a problem in a world where everyone is living their dreams, and has what they need, and can conceive of themselves and others as loving, caring individuals.
