Free market economics makes no attempt to manage the commons

Free market economics makes no attempt to manage the commons–instead just leaving it up for grabs–everyone grab theirs quickly before someone else beats them to it, until the commons is all gone.  Some of the commons could be managed as a tourist attraction, as James Duke, PhD botanist, retired from the USDA, made a bundle writing and selling books about medicinal herbs, then put that money into turning a fair-sized portion of the Amazon river basin into a giant botanical garden to show off medicinal herbs native to the area to eco-tourists.  Use of common air and water supplies for waste disposal does not lend itself well to eco-touism.  I believe that excise taxes designed to capture external costs imposed by waste disposal on innocent bystanders would work better than either the non-tariff regulatory burden we have now or trying to ignore the problem.  Back in the days of sparse population and a low-level of technology, it was possible to ignore waste disposal as negligible.  Now, with higher population density and more advanced and dangerous technology with more toxic wastes–we really need to do something about motivating efforts to clean up messes.

As I write this, it is September 24, 2011 and I would like to share my story of the many blessings I’ve received, through the philosophies of Neothink.  I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mark Hamilton for extending an invitation to me.  It is from this invitation that I’ve been able to experience this beautiful planet we live in, through another perspective or new set of eyes and mind, so to speak. It is through this perspective that I have gained the knowledge to be able to understand more clearly, that I, Create My Own Reality……. we all do.  To think that we don’t, would be, what they want you to believe.  I now know, that prior teachings have left me disillusioned.  Disillusioned to the fact that, the concepts were there, but the actions were not.  I’m a very observant person and could not continue to place myself in an environment that went contradictory to my feelings….  I have now found the true brotherhood.  People whose beliefs and more importantly the actions they take, are very real, true and honest!  Not only for the chosen few, but open to all who resonate, with the message.  Be it a different race, color, or creed.  Beliefs and ACTIONS, with every human being in mind.  Earl Nightingale says” It’s Never Too Late To Begin”……. Yes, it’s never too late to change your habits.  Your “thinking” habits, that is.  Change it from a negative aspect to a positive aspect.  And, you do this on a constant basis through, audios, books, events, recognition, but more importantly, relationships.  It’s because of Mark Hamilton, I am now on my way to be, do or have anything and everything I want to experience in this lifetime.  I now have the connections to create a life of prosperity like no other I’ve ever had the privilege, of experiencing before.  I am in the company of some of the wealthiest people, and I mean wealthy in their “Thinking and Abilities” to create a successful life of true happiness and prosperity.  A life well lived, to the fullest extent.  A life of true friendships, that will last a lifetime.  And, it is with this group of leaders that I choose to surround myself with and to emulate.  May you find a nugget of gold in what I’m conveying as I write this.  See for yourself and know, just know, that you too can find true happiness and freedom, if you follow the words written by Mark Hamilton and the wisdom he shares.  A very wise man once said “If you want things in your life to change, you’re going to have to change things in your life”….Yes, if we want this world to change for the better, we need to be the examples.  We need to empower others to see that they too, can do it.  If enough of us do this, I believe that Paradise On Earth will come about.  So let us all, change our thinking to that of abundance, not that of scarcity and to help those who are not able to see, SEE!  Giesele B.
