I am glad to have the opportunity to share my story!

Good morning Mark!

I am glad to have the opportunity to share my story! I have been affiliated with Neo-Tech almost 2 years or more and I have seen so many dramatic changes in my life for my good. Talents and gifts are being discovered that I didn’t know I had. As a person who reads ad write a lot and take a tablet everywhere I go, I would like to share the changes in my life.

1. I started writing poetry at age 9, but in 2011, I really begin to realize the world is hurting so there were a lot of poems I have written that I removed from my binder an formed a poetry book. I began pricing how much it cost to go through traditional publishing and I put that project to the side because it was too expensive. One day lying on the bed I kept hearing the word “ebook”. So, I got up did my research on what’s an ebook. To make a long story short, it led me in publishing my own inspirational poetry book , saving myself thousands of dollars. Also, I had chosen my mother as my proofreader and editor with her marketing and business skills as a person who enjoys English. So, she has also been my marketer in which I have been in local drugstores and local well known grocery store to promote my book.

2. I have been interested in music. I felt that I write poems that I can write lyrics. This idea has led me to writing lyrics. Now, I have over 100 lyrics copyrighted in Gospel, Blues, R&B, Country, and Dance (a mixture of lyrics). After writing the lyrics, I start searching for beats to put with my lyrics. After searching, I discovered beats are expensive. So, I began to search on how to compose beats which led me in purchasing software.  Now I have over 100 beats copyrighted in various genres. People listen to samples of my music and they don’t believe me as a female in composing beats. Many ask have I ever been involved in music in school or college. I am a person with absolutely no music background. I couldn’t tell them what a half or whole note look like. I have received numerous of compliments and people are waiting on cds to be release because they say my music is different and they can’t wait for it to be on the radio and see me on BET. Currently, I am teaching myself how  mix and master to make the music radio ready. I hear music but didn’t know that all this work and patience music professionals go through. My mom have asked local music professional to listen and evaluate. I receive no harsh evaluations at all, I am so amazed because I am really a beginner, but they see me as someone who has been doing this for a long time.

Everybody ask my mom how can I do all of that and work 2 jobs when do she have the time.  “It’s called mini-day Mark (They don’t understand I work 2 jobs to fund my projects and all of this is being done along with projects being completed because of the mini day)
