Mark Hamilton:
It is my pleasure to provide to you my experience of Neothink.
I have been a veracious reader of the Neothink literature and it has helped both refine my philosophy, and improve my productivity. The “mini-day” concept has been enthusiastically embraced in my business and it has allowed me to move forward in many areas in which I was previously stalled, such as bookkeeping, correspondence, risk-management, and balancing customer service and marketing activities. In fact, with the disciplined application of this concept alone, my business is now moving forward at an accelerating pace and I have massively increased my productive capacity.
Integrated thinking allows me to clearly see inter-related aspects of my business, and map a strategy for controlled, sustainable growth. Recently, I experienced an epiphany which has enabled me to see how the systems and marketing aspects can combine to produce a scalable and rapidly growing business. In the past, it would have been a struggle to translate the strategy into action, but Neothink has provided me the tools to make this happen. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by the work ahead of me, I am excited by the future and know that I have the structure and tools reach my goals.
Despite making it to executive management, I left the corporate world several years ago, knowing that it was not for me; feeling a great sense of frustration and dissatisfaction with my working life. With the discovery of Neothink, I now understand what was most frustrating. Firstly it was the laziness and dishonesty of many of the employees. Secondly it was the narrow and linear thinking that pervaded the workplace. I considered myself a “systems thinker”, seeing a bigger, more connected picture. I used to think this was a potential weakness since I could articulate a strategy and people would have no idea what I was talking about! With Neothink, I now understand that it was because I was joining together concepts into an integrated whole. Most people could not follow my thinking, and at the time I lacked the tools to understand why, or to guide people to a better understand of my ideas.
It is my pleasure to be a part of the Neothink Society and I look forward to a prosperous and productive future.
Sincerely,
John West
