Hi Mark,
Well, my story goes way back almost 15 years ago. I recall the dramatic shift in thinking and consciousness from reading the Neo-Tech Discovery including The Story. The shift went from what I would call a basic mindset to one of love, fullness and peace. I went from not doing much with my life to getting a job and working instead of just hoping for a windfall of sorts. I quit smoking. I eventually went back to school and earned a post-secondary diploma. The shift to pure love was not permanent – it came and went and I have never experienced it nearly as intense as when I was first reading Neo-Tech.
Reading the Discovery opened my eyes to concepts I had never paid much attention to including the problems that government causes and man’s shift to consciousness a couple thousand years ago. To understand the concepts one really needs to put the time in and read for themselves. There is so much detail in reading and learning that can’t really be equaled in a conversation.
I did move away from Neo-Tech for a number of years – I put my book away, returned to mysticism (a little at least), and didn’t pay much attention for a while. I got a few mailings from Neo-Tech years ago that I ignored and some that that I responded to but never followed through with.
Now in recent times I received a mailing (a little over a year ago) that I responded to. I received the updated version of The Story called ‘Neothink’ which I finished reading a while back. I have begun re-reading the Discovery which I had put away for years. The changes I have noticed have been having more confidence with decision making, deeper insight into subjects from world issues, personal relationships and society, to things as simple as hidden context in certain song lyrics – getting what the writer really means.
The biggest change is the psychological aspect. Developing better mental clarity by reading, understanding and applying what I am learning to my life. The changes are ongoing, and I am gradually improving as I read more.
My life is far from perfect though. I have numerous health problems – one in particular that makes it impossible to work for a living right now. But I look at what Neo-Tech could bring with the Technological Revolution and there is hope. I look at how different things could be if I was healed from my health problems – able to work and contribute to society, having my dream career. Things that I could have if these changes would happen within society. I am wondering what the wait is for and why we can’t have a Neo-Tech world now. I will say that if there was a Neo-Tech/Twelve Visions candidate on the ballot come election time that I would vote for them.
In the mean time I’ll keep reading and do what I can to improve my life.
Thanks,
J.D.
