Dear Mr. Hamilton,
Thank you for your invitation into the League and for giving me your email. I have wanted to write you for a long time. In school, I got straight A’s until I had to read books. I failed out. So, I haven’t read a lot of the books that I bought from you. I have many other books too that I haven’t read. I am reading The Prime Cure I received and am determined to finish it and become more involved in Neothink. I don’t know who Steve Jobs is as I don’t follow famous personalities. However, You really shook me out of my emotional stagnation when you told me he had said, “…put a dent in the Universe.” When I was 28 (I’m now 63), I said to my psychology teacher that I wanted to put a dent in the world. I hawed!
After that, you started to talk about business-another failure in my life. I even lost money in a direct mail program. I always worked in dead end jobs because I can’t handle business. I began to want to commit suicide reading further & remembered asking God to let me die every night for about a year. Furthermore, I have schizophrenia and other serious mental illnesses, controlled by medication. I design and make jewelry when I can but I’m on Social Security Disability. You have a difficult student to mentor. I am interested in the direct mail, network marketing business you are pursuing. I did lose a lot of money in the past with both. “It’s all about the list.” I have been told. There are also free stamp “schemes”. I need to get further into reading before I can say more. I have been steeped in the use of the I Ching all my adult life. You say it’s right brain activity. Christ said that Oracles are just a reflection of your own mind. The book goes back 800 to 1,200 years B.C. There’s a book I recommend called, “Understanding the I Ching” by Cyrille Javary. He goes through the history of the I Ching. He says not to use it to predict the future (divination, which The Book of Revelations says use will not enter the Kingdom of God.) but to ask, “How do I succeed with …?” Then a strategy reveals itself to follow. Even the Chinese language was developed concurrent with and interlaced with the book.
Sincerely,
Jack G.
