I am rereading the Miss Annabelle Story by Mark Hamilton. It is amazing to see Miss Annabelle’s strength through adversity.
Miss Annabelle saw through the illusions to what is. Even though she became a political prisoner for a crime she didn’t commit, she remained true to herself and her students.
That is a valuable lesson to all of us. We need to always look to the positive side. What might seem as a disaster will open up opportunities to better your life. Don’t worry, be happy!
Did you realize that it takes more muscles to frown than to smile? So smile and laugh everyday, you just might brighten up someone elses day.
Dear Jill,
Thank you for brightening my Day! This would be a lovely axiom for everyone to live by. I, too, love the Ms.Annabelle Story, as it was one which put me through so many an experience, learning ones to me. I would love for everyone to read it, and realize the visions implicit for Humanity within its pages!
I certainly give Mark Hamilton credit for drawing up from deep within himself this solution for what ails our Nation!
I encourage anyone reading to explore http://www.tvpnc.org/

I too can see this story someday being manatory for students to read. I have read this story 3 times. I am in the process of reading it the forth time. Everytime I read it I get a huge thrill from reading it. It has becomed my favorite story. Mark Hamilton is a great author.
Hi Jill, when you smile you make me happy, my Mother used to tell that to her children 5 of us, I’am 81 years old and I have never forgot thoes words. As for the miss Annabelle story there is so much Love, Honesty and motovation projected that it should be mandatory reading for all students.Long live Mark Hamilton.
