The Look of Love in the Garden
The look of love radiates from First Lady Michelle Obama. She appears to be a competent, confident woman who enjoys her roles as mother, professional and wife of the President. She celebrates with her man and family. Michelle indicated, during an interview, she was a hard-working woman building a profession, when she met Barack. She seems honest and ethical and was not willing to date Barack while teaching him, as an underling, at a law firm.
She instead showed discipline and acted in her purpose to train a young man to be an attorney. She could have taken advantage of his innocence, and the firms’ dollars, by dating him while earning “billable hours“. Instead, the two of them only worked together and perhaps celebrated those learning experiences.
Mankind is happiest when building value through work. Michelle could take pride teaching him and he could feel good learning from her. When Barack became, what Michelle considered a success, she then surrendered herself, to the love that had grown for her man.
The two of them continue to work together. They celebrate their love which spreads to their daughters. Recently, Michelle lovingly worked with her daughters planting the White House garden. The family will celebrate as they tend the garden and eat from its bounty. If they grow zucchini, they most likely will have to share with accepting friends! The moral of this story, when we produce values for ourselves we create happiness that can be shared, in the form of love, with many. The children are happy because they know they are creating something for themselves and their family.
Do you or others in your family enjoy gardening? If you do, why do you plant your own garden? Is it to protect your family from pesticides and altered seeds or is it just for pleasure? Do you suppose First Lady Michelle Obama grows an organic garden to lovingly protect her family from altered produce? Doing so, she is producing a real value to her family. Or, do you believe she grows a garden for pleasure and quality time with her daughters?
