In my first article I briefly went over the three forces that oppose the Law of Attraction. The first force is external. Now these forces affect each one of us differently. External forces may have little influence on you but are the main success blockers in others. The important thing is to understand these forces and minimize their effect on your efforts. All of the forces are very complex so I will be going deeper on each force later.
External forces are any force that impedes your progress that you do not generate yourself. A good example is a stop sign. Chances are you did not make a particular stop sign and have it installed along your route you are taking. Now we normally obey these stop signs because usually these signs help make traffic safer. So we lose a little time to get to our destination but we have a much better chance of arriving without having an accident.
There are numerous external forces that we are constantly dealing with. Frequently family and friends demand our time and these things are not always productive. The government makes rules and regulations that often interfere with progress. There are also a lot of restrictions at work that can stop progress.
Now this is all pretty vague but at this point I think you get the idea. What you should do is think about all the forces in your life that keep you from being successful and list them. Understand that you can’t just tear down that stop sign you probably can’t do the same with the external forces in your life. However if you find an alternative route that bypasses the stop sign you may find that the new route is quicker. Of course it may actually take longer or force you to drive much farther.
Another thing that might come into play is the price of gas. If you drive a different route around the stop sign you won’t get stopped there but you will probably use more gas. So now you have two small forces that are creating blocks to you succeeding in getting to your destination. You could also be trying to go at the high traffic time which will slow you even more. All of sudden each one of these small “inconveniences” adds up a decision to not even try to reach your destination.
This my friends is unfortunately a small example of the External forces working against you. Every little bump and shove, be it physical or mental, adds to the misalignment of our focus. Just like I talked about in the first article, the nail or paperclip gets hit from random directions with a magnet, looses alignment!
The same concept happens to us!!
The next article will talk about the Internal Forces that block our success
Mr ‘Sharpguy the following statement you made:
‘This my friends is unfortunately a small example of the External forces working against you’ I DISAGREE WITH YOU.
EXPERIENCES IN LIFE ARE JUST ‘TEACHERS’ so we can observe our ATTITUDE in regard to them, therefore we then can KEEP A ‘YUKKY’ ATTITUDE or we can make a CHOICE FOR THE ATTITUDE we like better. In that way a person is not giving up CONTROL OF SELF to OUTER CIRCUMSTANCES.
